## Security

- **Narrow OAuth scope**: Uses drive.file — only accesses files you explicitly pick via Google Picker. No broad Drive or Docs access.
- **No data collection**: SmartMerge AI does not store, transmit, or retain your spreadsheet data or generated documents.
- **API keys in Script Properties**: Gemini API key stored server-side in Google Apps Script properties, never exposed to client.
- **Optional AI**: AI personalization is entirely opt-in. Basic merge works without any AI processing.
